ABAD Concepts was founded by Ricardo Abad in 2008, opening its doors in El Paso. TX. Ricardo Abad is originally from Spain an has over 15 years of experience in the automotive field, designing and manufacturing electrical test equipment.

“I have always been fascinated with and had a passion for creating things and I believe this passion is the key to success. With passion, you can push the limits of your imagination, creating new and innovative solutions”, says Ricardo. With this concept in mind, ABAD started designing custom connectors, for engine testing applications, providing new and innovative solutions to the market.

In the beginning, ABAD started subcontracting the machining process with local machine shops, but the results were not the expected. A lot of times the design was too complex and incurred in high cost and long delivery times. The solution was easy; machining in house, so ABAD bought its first machining center and started making its own parts at a fraction of time and cost.

Today, ABAD has the last technology in CAD/CAM and CNC manufacturing the complete product in house, using high quality materials and efficient manufacturing process.
